All About Ketti Handbags It was one sweltering weekend in San Diego, weaving my way through a sea of 50,000 sweaty superhero wannabes (I was at ComicCon, ya know) that I realized my camera bag - that big black brick I was lugging around - was not only ugly, it was bulky, awkward and told every pickpocket in the Gaslamp Quarter that it was probably worth taking. And oh yeah, it was fugly. I saw the light bulb go off above my head and it was a bright one. I'd been making handbags for years. Why not smoosh that together with my passion for photography and create a camera bag any girl worth her salt in style would love to carry around. Since 2008 Ketti Handbags has been producing camera bags with as much personality and flair as the women who carry them. Thoughtfully designed and constructed, the best compliment I can ever receive is that my bags are well-made. I've grown from painstakingly cutting and sewing each item by hand, to having my designs produced in top-notch factories, from selling on Etsy to having my products carried by some of the top online retailers around the world. As "I" becomes "we", we are growing and expanding our line to include more styles, more materials, and more accessories. As for me, the Ketti behind Ketti Handbags (because I suck at coming up with names, I opted to capitalize on my parents excellent name choice), when I'm not developing new ideas in my basement dungeon studio, I am obsessing over home renovations shows yet not doing any renovating of my own (see: studio), drinking endless cups of coffee and/or wine, and after many many years of wanting to, finally started training Muay Thai. photo courtesy of The Red Balloon Photography
